Tricia & Jeff
Salt & Seoul is the story of Tricia and Jeff, whose life experiences created a passion for bringing high-quality skincare and artisanal foods directly to communities across Saskatchewan. With a pop-up trailer and community-based retail, they’re able to meet people where they are – and make discovery part of the Salt & Seoul experience.
Salt & Seoul began with curiosity, travel, and a shared appreciation for quality.
Tricia, a lifelong Saskatchewan resident, spent years navigating skincare challenges in a harsh Prairie climate. That changed during a trip to Seoul, South Korea, where she discovered K-Beauty not as a trend, but as a way of life. For her, exploration quickly became passion.
She came home with more than products. She brought back a new perspective.
At the same time, Jeff’s story was shaped by the West Coast. After 30 years on Vancouver Island, where he worked as a fisherman, guide, and harvester, he developed a deep respect for food, ethical sourcing, and the connection between people and what they consume.
When their paths came together, so did their ideas.
Today, Salt & Seoul continues to grow. Tricia and Jeff are expanding access to curated global products throughout Saskatchewan, and their mobile retail model allows them to connect with the unique communities, markets, and festivals that make the province what it is.
Our mission is simple: bring standout Korean skincare and specialty foods to the prairies in a way that fits real life—pop-ups, a mobile trailer, and smart vending—so it’s easy to discover something new, right where you already are. Think market Saturdays, community events, and the little stops that make a week feel like home.
